If you live within a 3 to 4 mile radius, we would be glad to help get you home and, if necessary, pick you up when your car is ready. Yes we do! Douglas Auto Body accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Discover cards. We also accept payment in form of cash and check.
You should allow 60 days for the paint to cure completely before waxing you car. Other than that, you can wash your car as normal. Always be wary of any sort of animal, plant, or road matter that could chip or damage the paint finish.
A “remanufactured” or “reconditioned” bumper or part is one that has been broken, repaired, and then sold for a fraction of the price of a new part. These parts are usually salvaged from the dumpsters of body shops who have deemed them unrepairable. Douglas Auto Body prefers to use new Original Equipment Manufacturer parts (OEM), we find they fit better and last longer. In the case that the insurance company processing a claim insists on using a remanufactured part, we will only do so with your permission after the part has been thoroughly inspected.
Come on in! It is nearly impossible to write an accurate estimate on damage without seeing it. While we can give you a ballpark over the phone, a detailed, written estimate and time with our estimators can answer all your questions and in turn, we can learn about your needs.
YOU have the final decision on where to bring your car for repairs. Douglas Auto Body has worked with and established relationships with nearly every insurance company out there. We will be glad to work with your insurance company and explain any additional work to them.
